The Catalyst Quartet believes that art can and should thrive in the digital age – digital media, after all, is one of the universal sources of inspiration and innovation for the next generation. In commemoration of their 10th anniversary, the Quartet (the Met’s ’22-’23 Quartet in Residence) has commissioned miniature string quartets from eleven composers, ranging from Pulitzer winners to jazz legends to indie-pop stars.
