Card table
Card tables are more typically associated with parlors and sitting rooms, but these lightweight and versatile objects lent themselves to a variety of activities, from taking tea to conducting correspondence. This card table and its mate, now in a private collection, were produced en suite with a Pembroke table that would have been used for informal meals not requiring a large dining table.
