Plate with an illustration of a Parisian Costume for a striped gown and matching jacket, part of the 40th issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published on July 1st, 1913. The illustration features a woman wearing a dress with long, narrow skirt, made of linen with blue and red stripes, and a red jacket with blue lining, tied around the waist with a blue piece of fabric that hangs long on her back and ends with tassels. She wears a matching blue hat on her face, featuring a red-and-blue rosette flanked by a large, white feather, and blue shoes with blue buttons flanked by small, thin, red petaloids. Her hands are covered by elbow-length, green gloves, and she holds a thin, brown cane on one hand, with which she has written the word "AIME" (love) on the ground; her other hand is touching her chin. Her face is made up with blue eyeshadow, pink blush on her cheeks, and pink lipstick.
