Curatorial Studies alumna Lyle Humphrey recently discovered an overlooked Bernini portrait medallion in storage in the North Carolina Museum of Art. The medallion is part of the exhibition Depicting the Papacy in Late Baroque Rome: Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Pier Leone Ghezzi, on view through April 6, 2015, at the North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh, where Dr. Humphrey is a GlaxoSmithKline Curatorial Fellow.
