Illustration of a blue garden dress, designed by Paul Poiret, part of the 43rd issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on August 1, 1913. The illustration features a woman wearing a narrow dress made of blue wool crepe, with three-quarter sleeves with white linen cuffs and a pleated "Hobble skirt", an empire-waist cut created by a thin, pink belt, and with pink buttons. She wears a white linen scarf tied around her neck, a matching white hat with a semi-abstract flower colored with yellow and green, and white boots with black buttons. She walks on a garden with semi-abstract bushes, and stares at a bee flying towards her, the rose she probably held in her hand flying off to the ground She wears thin, black bracelets around her wrists.
