Illustration with a design for a striped linen dress, part of the 48th issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on September 20, 1913. The illustration features a woman wearing a green linen dress with thin, vertical, pink stripes, with pleated pink linen borders at the bottom of the skirts and the sleeves, and wearing a matching pink linen scarf around her neck, tied with a red-and-green brooch; a matching broock is placed in the dress skirt, between her legs. She wears a white hat with a black ribbon and small red and green flowers, a black bracelet, and black lace-up shoes. She holds a small, green cup with a hanging red tassel on one hand, and a small, black-and-yellow bird stands on her hand eating from the cup; the other hand holds a black and red birdcage.
